Choosing the right load class drainage for your project

The table below shows different drainage load classes and typical uses for ACO drainage channels that are CE marked and fully certified to Load Class BS EN 1433:2002.

Most domestic projects would only require the first three of these, with A 15 most popular. However, this is often inappropriately chosen. For example, in the case of driveways we would recommend at least a B 125, and we would also encourage people to consider how the driveway is likely to be used. For example, are heavier vehicles likely to use the driveway at some stage? If this is the case then C 250 may be more appropriate.
