Shallow drain attenuation tank for underground applications
ACO GroundBloxx is a shallow drainage attenuation tank for underground applications. It enables engineers and architects to create an attenuation system to prevent flooding and water pollution as part of a SUDs solution. ACO GroundBloxx makes possible the creation of a system that can be configured to enable the cleansing of storm water runoff of pollutants (the filtration of heavy metals, total suspended solids (TSS) and hydrocarbons) in accordance with regulations before it is allowed to re-enter waterways. The system is flexible, cost effective, easy to install and can be designed to be accessible for inspection and maintenance at regular intervals. It can also incorporate tree planting systems.
The system comprises a shallow, high-strength, adjustable geocellular storage void, that can be of different depths, wrapped with protective fleece to aid filtration, This system can be coupled with other ACO products to help with the cleaning of the pollutants e.g ACO Quadraceptor
