The ACO Mobile Fence provides a solution which supports biodiversity by protecting amphibians, reptiles and small animals that may come near danger in a highway or construction site development.

The quick to install system acts as a barrier that prevents creatures from reaching a hazardous location, both by climbing over or undermining. The barrier can easily be moved around construction sites, enabling creatures to move away from the hazard to an area of safety. Supporting research or relocation programmes the Mobile Fence can be set up to guide young animals to survey buckets or to direct them to specific migration paths.

Providing a lightweight structurally stable system, the ACO Mobile Fence features the required top curve and 10cm underlap, but without the need to pierce the fencing fabric with screws, as seen in traditional wooden post designs.The adjustable design enables the fence to be assembled and disassembled quickly allowing the fence to adapt to the changing requirements found within a construction site. 

Guidance Wall 

The ACO Mobile Fence is compatible with ACO's other Climate Tunnel and Stop Channel ranges. By intergrating the systems, the ACO Mobile Fence can be used as a temporary solution to navigate small animals away from the road toward the ACO Climate Tunnel. Where a road junction may obstruct their path the ACO Stop Channel can be installed to continue the path underneath the road surface. For a permament solution the ACO Guide wall can be exchanged for the Mobile Fence.

Guidance Tunnel 

Upon guiding wildlife to the Climate Tunnel, the system will allows the small animals to cross roads safely between different areas of their natural habitat. The installation is kept at or near surface level, reducing distances to cross. Meanwhile the slots equalise ambient conditions between the tunnel and the open air, maximising light and humidity.
