NMBS competition winner

Cricket enthusiast Dexter Westwood was in celebratory mood when he received his unique signed England cricket shirt from ACO Water Management’s Martin Neale this week.
Winner of the prize draw competition hosted by former England pace bowler, Dean Headley, at the recent NMBS show in Telford, the Buyer at EH Smith’s Leicester branch was almost stumped for words: “This really is a unique and fantastic prize to win. As a keen cricket fan it is something that I might even consider wearing to the next test or twenty-twenty game I go to!”
A keen all-round sports fan and an apparently handy batsman in his school days, Dexter has been with EH Smith for over 5 years. This is the first time he has won a prize draw, “I’m now known as ‘jammy’ around the branch!”
Dean Headley was at the NMBS show to support ACO’s successful Pallet Alley ‘It’s Not All About Cricket!’ promotion. As well as meeting visitors and signing autographs he took time out to chew over all things leather and willow with ACO’s own cricketing legend Steve Durdant-Hollamby – although it has to be said that Steve declined the chance to face one of Dean’s famous pace-packed deliveries that earned him his England status.
Perhaps next year we’ll see Dexter and Steve at the crease…
