This is largely the result of progress being made by the engineering and planning communities with flood defences and surface water management solutions being introduced.

The Construction Products Regulation is obligatory from July 2013
From the 1st July 2013, all construction products covered by a harmonised European standard are required to have a Declaration of Performance (DoP) and to be CE Marked under the new Construction Products Regulation (CPR). Products covered by the CPR that do not comply will not be able to be legally sold in the UK or the rest of the EEA. ACO products that fall within the CPR are fully compliant.
