ACO Rain-Ceptor rainwater harvesting tanks are added to the DEFRA Water Technology List
The water-saving benefits of ACO Water Management’s new ACO Rain-Ceptor rainwater harvesting tanks have been recognised by the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA) with their inclusion on the latest ‘Water Technology List’. This approved list of products meets Defra’s criteria for water efficiency and allows any business now buying a Rain-Ceptor tank to offset 100% of the cost against taxable profit in the year of purchase.
ACO helps raise over £110,000 in ‘Italian Job’ Charity Rally
Despite a raft of idiosyncratic electrical complications, ACO Water Management’s entry in ‘The Italian Job’ Rally has successfully completed the gruelling four day round trip to Turin in support of the Prostate Cancer Charity. Following the alpine route taken in the iconic movie, Lucia - a stunning 20 year old Alfa Romeo Spider - joined 23 other teams, which included three classic minis carrying gold bars, in the 1,500 mile challenge which succeeded in raising £114,000 – over £40,000 more than last year’s ‘Monte Carlo’ event.
ACO enters thoroughbred classic in the ‘Italian Job’ Charity Rally.
The 2011 Prostate Cancer Charity Rally which aims to raise £100,000 will once again be supported by a team from ACO Technologies. Themed around the 1969 classic movie, The Italian Job, the event will see 24 teams attempt to cover the gruelling 1,500 mile mountain route to Turin and back in just 96 hours.
